      LOW VOLTAGE AC DRIVES

MOTORCABLE LENGTH
In many VFD-motor applications, installation requirements dictate the physical separation of the VFD and motor. depending on the distance of separation, fast changing PWM voltage pulses from the VFD can interact with the distributed inductance and capacitance of the motor leads, producing peak motor terminal voltages in excess of 1600 volts. This is generally referred to as "long-lead effects" and typically impacts VFD-motor installations with lead lengths of 50 feet or greater. This high voltage condition can stress and degrade the motor insulation resulting in premature cable or motor failures.NELCO's special IGBT firing algorithm helps to safely minimize long-lead effect for most applications with cable runs up to 300 feet for 400 volt and above systems and up to 50 feet for 575 volt and above systems.

SPEEDREGULATION
The GT3000 provides standard frequency regulation setpoint accuracy of 0.1%.Adding a closed-loop encoder will result in a speed regulation of 0.1%. The GT3000 offers Torque Follower Control for Master-slave applications.

PROTOPS™RELIABILITY

(Process Tolerant Protection Strategy) allows the user to configure alarms to ensure the process will remain up and running. Alarms such as Overspeed, Overcurrent, Network Failure and Underload are just a few of the ProToPS™ alarms that make the unexpected expected.

OVERLOAD PROTECTION
Using a simulated I2T curve in the drive software, the GT3000 offers outstanding motor protection.

FLYING RESTART
By continuously monitoring the motor's speed and direction, the GT3000 can instantaneously start or restart into a spinning motor. In the event of power interruption, the GT3000's standard sensorless vector control tracks the motor. When power is restored, the GT3000 immediately powers the motor without delay.

ENERGY SAVER
The GT3000 Energy Saver feature dramatically improves the system efficiency at light loads (5Hz to 25Hz) by operating the motor at optimal flux, thus minimizing motor losses by regulating and optimizing the motor's power factor.

AUTO-TUNING
When using sensorless vector control, the GT3000 provides an auto-tuning feature. This promotes simpler, quicker start-ups to get your plant process up and running.

MULTIPLE ss CAPABILITY
One VFD can control multiple motors for special applications by using an optional volts/hertz control.
