NETWORK

In 1995, the Tata Group
felt the need to set up an internal organization
that would ensure a seamless and highly
reliable information flow between the
various plants and offices of the individual
companies within the group. Thus was setup
TataNet (a division of Nelco Limited)
Deregulations
vide the National Telecom Policy NTP 99
gave the stimulus to Tatanet to venture
into the public domain. Hence, in 2002,
after 6 years of exemplary service and
continued support from group companies
Tatanet decided to make a foray into the
commercial segment, thereby servicing
the networking requirements of companies
outside the Tata Group.
